We are looking for a senior “TM1 Performance Management” consultant to join our team as a regular full-time employee with full benefits. May consider a contract-to-hire, but prefer direct hire. Background required includes: Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting consulting experience is mandatory. Knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and business processes. Experience designing and building planning/budgeting & forecasting applications for a variety of client organizations. Good understanding of various financial planning models such as rolling forecast applications, price volume applications, strategic planning applications, budgeting applications, etc  

Skills

Solid experience with IBM/Cognos TM1 and/or Applix TM1 (Cognos acquired Applix) is mandatory. Experience with any other planning/budgeting platform (in addition to TM1) is a plus.

Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations of IBM Cognos TM1

Extensive experience writing TM1 rules

Extensive experience with ETL development using TM1 Turbo Integrator

Experienced with TM1 server maintenance, environment setup, cube design, and application design

Experienced with using TM1 in conjunction with SQL databases

Familiarity with IBM Cognos 8 BI platform is highly desirable

Knowledge of relational database design and development - very strong Oracle, SQL skills

Experience in implementing security in the Cognos environment is highly desirable

Excellent oral and written communication skills is mandatory. Ability to interact as an equal with senior financial managers in client organization is mandatory… someone who can promote alternate solution architectures and best practices to clients, as needed.

Preferably within reasonable commute distance from Orange County, CA. Will be expected to work from Orange County office when not at a client site. Must be willing to go to client sites in So Cal as well as out of town.
